Wedding Weekend '07

Instead of going through all the nitty gritty details of what I now like to call "Wedding Weekend '07" I thought I would instead pick some of my favorite memorable moments and then get to what you all want to see, which is pictures! So here it is. The most memorable moments were, by far...

Meeting Angela's uncle Philip and knowing immediately that he was going to become "that guy" at the wedding. (He drunkenly boogied so hard to Footloose that he left shoe scuffs all over the floor.)

Seeing Will's mother and father waltzing to White Wedding by Billy Idol.

Getting stuck on the car hunt from hell for half an hour with Kevin only to end up gasless and thinking we were about to be arrested.

Hearing the best man give a speech glorifying himself and reminding us all how lucky we were to be in the presence of his girlfriend.

Literally tying Angela into her dress and praying she didn't have to pee anytime soon.

Seeing Chris cutting a rug with Will's mom.

Not tipping at the wedding day breakfast because it's criminal to charge $15 for a breakfast buffet without choice of eggs.

Getting so involved in my "Time of My Life" dancing that I inadvertently assaulted a chair.

Building a sandwich at the sandwich buffet only to realize I didn't want a sandwich and never really wanted one, I just wanted to build one.

Waking up the next morning still in my dress. (How Chris managed to get all of those pins out of my hair is beyond me.)

So there you have it. A party just isn't a party unless you wake up the next morning still wearing the clothes you were in the night before. Considering how much I had to drink, I was surprisingly not very hungover on Sunday and was perfectly able to make it to the Ewert's for Mother's Day supper.

So what's in store for this weekend? Absolutely nothing! Long weekends are awesome and I plan on locking the door, unplugging our phone (the one that actually works and isn't just there for aesthetic purposes) and secluding myself from society for three days with a big bag of spicey nacho Doritos and my Wii. It's not as exciting as a wedding with all of your friends, great booze and great food, but it may help me finally pass Zelda. And now the first batch of pics!
